The Connectivity Guide provides business partners with a detailed description of the technical connection options to the ECMS for both the test and production environments. It explains the different communication modes that can be used by business partners and provides detailed information on the necessary registration procedure with the Value Added Network Service Provider (VA-NSP) for the ECMS (U2A - User to Application and/or A2A - Application-to-Application).
The Eurosystem Single Market Infrastructure Gateway (ESMIG) is the central access point to the TARGET services T2 (CLM and RTGS), T2S, TIPS, and ECMS. To communicate with the TARGET services, each business partner must establish a connection via ESMIG, either directly or via a third party's technical access. The two network service providers (NSPs) licensed by the Eurosystem, NEXI-COLT and SWIFT, are available for this purpose.
