Fees
The Deutsche Bundesbank charges a volume-based fee of €0.0069 to €0,0017 per data record for SEPA payments submitted by a payment service provider. A fee of €0.0007 per data record is charged for delivered payments.
Until further notice, this charge is also applicable where payments in SEPA format from the RPS SEPA-Clearer are processed via other clearing houses.
In addition, regular and occasional fees apply. Details can be found in the list of fees (price list) in the General Terms and Conditions.
Fixed fees of EBA CLEARING for the connection as a reachable BIC of the Bundesbank in the STEP2 system are passed on to the respective payment service provider by the Bundesbank.
Processing windows
SEPA credit transfers
The RPS SEPA-Clearer offers several same-day processing windows for SEPA credit transfers and SEPA direct debits. The values of processed SEPA credit transfers are delivered and settled upon closure of the respective processing window.
SEPA Core direct debits and SEPAB2B direct debits
With regard to the processing of SEPA direct debits, it should be noted that, owing to the manner in which the SEPA direct debit scheme is designed, the payment messages are generally delivered and settled at different times . While R-transactions are settled just after the respective processing window closes, original transactions are settled at the respective due date.
SCC card payments
The RPS SEPA-Clearer offers several same-day processing windows for SCC card payments. The values of processed SCC card payments are delivered and settled immediately upon closure of the respective processing window.
