Test Operational Readiness Regular testing of participation in standard refinancing operations
As of 2026, eligible counterparties are expeted to participate in a main or longer-term refinancing operation at least once a year in order to demonstrate ther operational readiness.

These include liquidity-providing and liquidity-absorbing open market operations which are settled by the Bundesbank, to the extent of its mandate, with counterparties established or resident in Germany.

Die EZB fordert ihre Geschäftspartner auf, ab 2026 verstärkt operative Vorkehrungen zu treffen. So sollen die Geschäftspartner auf freiwilliger Basis ihren Zugang zu den Hauptrefinanzierungsgeschäften (HRGs) und/oder den dreimonatigen längerfristigen Refinanzierungsgeschäften (LRGs) mindestens einmal jährlich testen.
