Im Februar 2013 war der Bestand an von Investmentfonds (ohne Geldmarktfonds) im Euro-Währungsgebiet begebenen Anteilen 115 Mrd € höher als im Januar dieses Jahres. Maßgeblich hierfür waren sowohl ein Anstieg der Kurse für Investmentfondsanteile als auch der Nettoabsatz von Investmentfondsanteilen.

Im Februar 2013 wies die saisonbereinigte Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 16,3 Mrd € auf. In der Kapitalbilanz waren bei den Direktinvestitionen und Wertpapieranlagen zusammengenommen Nettokapitalabflüsse in Höhe von annähernd 11 Mrd € (nicht saisonbereinigt) zu verzeichnen.
