The statistics on amounts outstanding of OTC derivatives are part of a survey coordinated by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), which is conducted semi-annually by central banks in major financial centres.

The statistics on the banks' profit and loss accounts have been released on an annual basis since 1968. This involves the evaluation of the profits and losses calculated from the annual accounts which the banks must submit to the Bundesbank pursuant to section 26 of the Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz).

Der gewichtete Indikator der Kreditfinanzierungskosten für neue Kredite an Unternehmen blieb mit 1,51 % weitgehend unverändert, während der entsprechende Indikator für neue Wohnungsbaukredite an private Haushalte aufgrund des Zinseffekts um 14 Basispunkte auf 1,61 % anstieg.

Die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) hat ihren Datensatz struktureller Finanzindikatoren für den Bankensektor in der Europäischen Union (EU) für Ende 2021 aktualisiert.

Alle zwei Jahre erscheinender Bericht bewertet Fortschritte der sieben EU-Mitgliedstaaten, die nicht dem Euroraum angehören. Positive Bewertung Kroatiens im Hinblick auf mögliche Euro-Einführung am 1. Januar 2023. Fortschritte halten sich wegen des schwierigen wirtschaftlichen Umfelds insgesamt in Grenzen.

Die Unternehmen im Euro-Währungsgebiet teilten erneut mit, dass sich ihre Geschäftstätigkeit erholt habe. Allerdings habe sich ihre Ertragslage durch die sprunghaft gestiegenen Vorleistungskosten verschlechtert.

Im ersten Quartal 2022 beliefen sich die gesamten von Versicherungsgesellschaften im Euroraum gehaltenen Aktiva auf 8 911 Mrd € und fielen damit um 329 Mrd € niedriger aus als im vierten Quartal 2021.
