The balance of payments records all economic transactions between residents and non-residents within a given time period and thus shows a country’s complex economics links with the rest of the world.

Im März 2025 wies die Leistungsbilanz einen Überschuss von 51 Mrd. € auf (nach 41 Mrd. € im Vormonat).

Die deutsche Leistungsbilanz verzeichnete im April 2025 einen Überschuss von 23,5 Mrd €. Das Ergebnis lag um 9,4 Mrd € unter dem Niveau des Vormonats. Dahinter standen niedrigere Aktivsalden im Warenhandel und insbesondere bei den „unsichtbaren“ Leistungstransaktionen, die neben Dienstleistungen auch Primär- und Sekundäreinkommen umfassen.

Im Februar 2025 wies die Leistungsbilanz einen Überschuss von 34 Mrd. € auf (nach 40 Mrd. € im Vormonat).

Germany’s current account recorded a surplus of €34.1 billion in March 2025, up €7.8 billion on the previous month’s level. This was attributable to larger surpluses in the goods account and especially in invisible current transactions, which comprises services as well as primary and secondary income. 

Die Leistungsbilanz wies im Gesamtjahr 2024 einen Überschuss von 426 Mrd. € auf (2,8 % des BIP im Euroraum), verglichen mit einem Überschuss von 243 Mrd. € (1,7 % des BIP) ein Jahr zuvor.

Im Januar 2025 wies die Leistungsbilanz einen Überschuss von 35 Mrd. € auf (nach 38 Mrd. € im Vormonat).

Im Dezember 2024 wies die Leistungsbilanz einen Überschuss von 38 Mrd. € auf (nach 25 Mrd. € im Vormonat).

The German current account recorded a surplus of €20.0 billion in February 2025, up €5.0 billion on the previous month’s level. The surplus in invisible current transactions, which comprise services as well as primary and secondary income, declined slightly. However, the surplus in the goods account rose even more strongly.

Im November 2024 wies die Leistungsbilanz einen Überschuss von 27 Mrd. € auf (nach 30 Mrd. € im Vormonat).
