This course is designed for central bank officials engaged in financial stability tasks. Participants should have a sound understanding of systemic risk surveillance and macroprudential policy. Contributions on recent developments in participants’ respective countries are encouraged. The course may also be beneficial for staff from other central bank divisions such as banking supervision, monetary policy, or payment systems.

The course is aimed at experts and decision-makers from national central banks working in IT security, governance, digitalisation strategies, or supervisory frameworks. Participants should have at least an intermediate understanding of cybersecurity and be prepared to share their knowledge with the group. The number of participants is limited to 15 experts from national central banks. Active participation is expected, including a short presentation on national experiences or approaches to specific topics in cybersecurity.

This course is designed for economists and policymakers in central banks who wish to deepen their understanding of digital central bank currencies and related central bank activities. Participants should have a solid background in CBDC-related issues or in areas such as payment systems, monetary policy, financial stability, or banking supervision.
