Germany’s current account recorded a surplus of €13.1 billion in May 2021, down €7.9 billion on the previous month’s level. In addition to the declining surplus in the goods account, the main reason for this decrease was the balance in invisible current transactions, which comprise primary and secondary income as well as services, switching from a surplus to a deficit. 

Im Berichtszeitraum von März bis Mai 2021 wurden die Kreditbedingungen an den Märkten für auf Euro lautende wertpapierbesicherte Finanzierungen und Over-The-Counter (OTC)-Derivate insgesamt geringfügig gestrafft.

Die Jahreswachstumsrate des Umlaufs an von Ansässigen im Euro-Währungsgebiet begebenen Schuldverschreibungen sank von 7,0 % im April 2021 auf 5,6 % im Mai. Die Jahreswachstumsrate des Umlaufs an von Ansässigen im Euro-Währungsgebiet emittierten börsennotierten Aktien stieg von 2,0 % im April 2021 auf 2,3 % im Mai.
