Im zweiten Quartal 2020 war der Bestand an von Investmentfonds (ohne Geldmarktfonds) begebenen Anteilen um 1 004 Mrd € höher als im ersten Quartal 2020 (siehe Abbildung 1). Maßgeblich hierfür waren ein Nettoabsatz von Investmentfondsanteilen in Höhe von 187 Mrd € sowie sonstige Veränderungen (einschließlich Preisänderungen) im Umfang von 817 Mrd €.

Since 4 April, the new €50 banknote has been in circulation in all 19 member countries of the euro area. It represents the fourth banknote in the so-called “Europa series” that also comprises the new €5, €10 and €20 notes, all of which have now entered circulation.

In the first half of 2020, the Bundesbank recorded approximately 34,000 counterfeit euro banknotes with a nominal value of €1.6 million. Although this means that the number of counterfeits rose significantly on the year, their volume remained low overall.

Die deutsche Leistungsbilanz verzeichnete im Juni 2020 einen Überschuss von 22,4 Mrd €. Das Ergebnis lag damit um 15,4 Mrd € über dem Niveau des Vormonats.
