Cloud Lead (m/w/d) temporary 4 years
As cloud lead, you will assume the central role in a strategically important multi-year cloud transformation programme.
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the budget, coordination and results of the programme. You will lead a team of approximately 60 to 70 interdisciplinary specialists and managers, and will be accountable for a budget in the upper tens of millions of euro. You will thus not only be spearheading the Bundesbank’s technological migration to the cloud, but also its organisational transformation as it moves towards a future-proof cloud operating model.

- You will have overall responsibility for a strategic cloud transformation programme.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the programme objectives are achieved in terms of time, costs, quality and impact.
- You will set up an interdisciplinary programme team, assume leadership of this team and work towards its continuous development.
- You will work closely with the cloud provider (Microsoft) as well as internal security and architecture managers.
- You will be a driver of cultural and structural transformation as you collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for implementing cloud governance, security and compliance standards as well as developing them further.
- You will advise the Bundesbank’s Executive Board and senior management on the topics covered by your area of responsibility and represent the Bundesbank in internal committees and external networks.
Unique assets: your skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a field relevant to the position (e.g. economics, (business) informatics)
- At least ten years of professional experience in IT functions with involvement in cloud transformation projects
- Extensive experience in the dotted line management of large, interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in programme coordination with responsibility for budget, results and coordination of external stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of cloud governance, security and compliance standards
- Very good knowledge of modern cloud technologies, ideally backed up by relevant certification from large cloud providers
- Strong skills in leading, motivating and organising highly qualified managerial staff, ideally substantiated by many years of managerial experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, strategic thinking skills and confidence in dealings with C-suite stakeholders
- Very good communication skills in German and English

Remuneration and prospects
