The current account by partner countries

On this page, the Deutsche Bundesbank publishes the monthly results of the German current account by partner country. For each country in the world, the main current account aggregates are provided. In addition, detailed sub-accounts (goods trade, services, primary and secondary income) are available for the 70 most important partner countries in a detailed factual breakdown. In addition, workers' remittances are provided for each recipient country.

The euro area is Germany’s most important partner area. At the level of individual countries, the highest revenue is generated with the United States, while the highest expenditure is incurred in economic exchanges with China.
