The Deutsche Bundesbank’s latest macroeconomic statistics and real-time data are provided in the form of time series. The data can be viewed online on the statistics portal and downloaded as CSV or SDMX‑ML files for further processing.
With the Bundesbank SDMX Web Service, the Bundesbank offers a technical REST-API interface that can be used to automatically download statistical data (macroeconomic time series, real-time data and metadata) by calling a URL.
Data are offered in SDMX-ML 2.1 and CSV formats, while metadata are provided in SDMX-ML 2.1 format.
Our RESTful web service uses JSON as its standard communication format.
The interface only supports the representational state transfer (REST) protocol. Access is only possible via the HTTPS protocol.
The web service will be continuously updated and expanded.
