The external ECB Governing Council meeting is being held on 9 and 10 September in Berlin. The Governing Council of the ECB usually meets in Frankfurt am Main. Once a year, a national central bank hosts the meeting – this year the Bundesbank has the honour of hosting in the German capital. The agenda includes monetary policy decisions and the release of new macroeconomic projections.

ECB President Christine Lagarde will present the results of the monetary policy meeting at a press conference on 10 September at 14:45. The press conference will be held together with Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel and ECB Vice-President Boris Vujčić, and will also be livestreamed.
