Aus Vereinfachungsgründen genügt es, wenn meldepflichtige Institute mit permanenter Fehlanzeige diese nur einmal jährlich (am Jahresende) anzeigen. Davon ausgenommen sind im Laufe eines Berichtsjahres auftretende Fehlanzeigen; hier muss die Fehlanzeige sofort (d.h. am nächstfolgenden Monatsende) abgegeben werden.

Die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) hat heute eine Studie zu den Umweltauswirkungen der Euro-Banknoten als Zahlungsmittel veröffentlicht. Demnach beliefen sich die mit Banknotenzahlungen verbundenen Umweltauswirkungen im Jahr 2019 auf durchschnittlich 101 Mikropunkte (µPt) je Person im Euroraum.

The House of the Euro was inaugurated by ECB President Christine Lagarde, eight central bank governors and the entire ECB Executive Board as a place for cooperation in Brussels between the European Central Bank, the Bundesbank and other central banks.

The new banknotes retain the basic features of the first banknote series with regard to the motifs and main colours depicted in the stylised windows, gateways and bridges, showing architectural styles from different periods of European history.
