The G7 is an informal club of seven of the world's most advanced industrial economies (Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom). The Bundesbank has a particular interest in issues concerning the policies pursued by international financial institutions and the stability and integrity of the international financial and monetary system.

By way of majority, the National Cash Forum advocates rounding up or down to the nearest 5 euro cent for cash payments in Germany. The Federal Ministry of Finance is called upon to advocate for, and press ahead with, a binding statutory rounding rule in Germany. The rounding rule should be applied across Europe as uniformly as possible.

Die Deutsche Bundesbank startet die bundesweite Veranstaltungsreihe „Bits & Bargeld – wie bezahlen wir morgen?“. In verschiedenen Städten Deutschlands möchte sich die Bundesbank mit Bürgerinnen und Bürgern sowie Einzelhändlern und Unternehmern über die Zukunft des Bezahlens austauschen. 

Die Finanzsanktionen gegen bestimmte Personen und Organisationen, die mit den ISIL (Da'esh)- und Al-Qaida-Organisationen in Verbindung stehen dienen der Durchführung von Maßnahmen des Sicherheitsrats der Vereinten Nationen.

Im Januar 2025 wies die Leistungsbilanz einen Überschuss von 35 Mrd. € auf (nach 38 Mrd. € im Vormonat).
