Die Europäische Zentralbank hat heute eine Ausschreibung für den Vorsitz des Aufsichtsgremiums veröffentlicht. Die am 1. Januar 2024 beginnende Amtszeit beträgt fünf Jahre und ist nicht verlängerbar. Die Amtszeit von Andrea Enria, derzeitiger Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsgremiums, läuft Ende 2023 ab.

Germany’s current account recorded a surplus of €32.4 billion in March 2023, up €9.9 billion on the previous month’s level. This was chiefly attributable to a larger goods account surplus.
