Die kommenden statistischen Pressemitteilungen zur Geldmengenentwicklung, zu den MFI-Zinsen, zu den Investmentfonds sowie zu den finanziellen Mantelkapitalgesellschaften/Verbriefungszweckgesellschaften werden neue Untergliederungen enthalten, die auf dem kürzlich eingeführten Europäischen System Volkswirtschaftlicher Gesamtrechnungen 2010 (ESVG 2010) basieren. Durch die neuen Daten wird der statistische Berichtsrahmen der EZB für die monetäre Analyse sowie für Untersuchungen im Zusammenhang mit der Finanzstabilität und der Integration der Finanzmärkte in Europa erweitert.

Gemäß der Berichtspflichten der ESZB-Satzung wird von der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB) wöchentlich ein konsolidierter Ausweis des Eurosystems veröffentlicht. Dieser soll den Nutzern als Informationsquelle im Zusammenhang mit den geldpolitischen Operationen, den Devisengeschäften und der Investitionstätigkeit dienen. Zudem sind darin Angaben über die Liquiditätsströme enthalten.

Im Mai 2015 war der Bestand an von Investmentfonds (ohne Geldmarktfonds) im Euro-Währungsgebietbegebenen Anteilen 106 Mrd € höher als im April dieses Jahres.Maßgeblich hierfür war der Nettoabsatz von Investmentfondsanteilen.

The emerging market economies have grown significantly over the past 20 years, increasingly becoming the engine fuelling global growth. Recently, however, economic momentum in China, Russia and other countries has tailed off considerably. In the July Monthly Report, the Bundesbank's economists look into the drivers behind this development.

The number of counterfeit euro banknotes seized by the Bundesbank in the first half of 2015 was up 31% on the second half of 2014. However, measured against the amount of cash in circulation in Germany, the incidence of counterfeits remained low, said Bundesbank Executive Board member Carl-Ludwig Thiele. Of all the denominations, €20 and €50 banknotes were counterfeited particularly frequently.

The group of emerging market economies have experienced impressive growth over the past 20 years, substantially boosting their share of global economic output and worldwide trade. Recently, however, economic momentum has tailed off considerably in a large number of emerging market economies, and the growth lead they once enjoyed over the industrial countries has narrowed.

According to the current issue of its Monthly Report, the Bundesbank sees the German economy as having continued to pick up speed in the second quarter, with strong levels of consumption and the robust upswing in the export business being the main drivers of economic growth.
