The exhibition "Geldmacher" (Money maker) is open to visitors to the Money Museum until 25 February 2018. No fewer than 300,000 banknotes printed by Frankfurt artist Michael Riedel are on display. This is the first time an exhibition organised by the Bundesbank has been made accessible to the general public.

As in previous years, the Bundesbank will be taking part in this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair, which will be held from 11 to 15 October. The Bundesbank is organising a programme for children, coin collectors and banknote buffs, and this year, there will be something for film fans, too. You will find the Bundesbank stand in Hall 3.1 (C49).

For 20 years now, euro banknotes and coins have been part of the everyday lives of people in Germany and the euro area. To mark the anniversary, the Bundesbank met both with interested members of the public and with expert audiences on various occasions in 2022. The programme culminated in an anniversary ceremony at the end of the year.
