There are various documents available describing the structure and functioning of T2. There are for example the Information Guide for TARGET participants, the User Requirements Document, the User Detailed Functional Specifications, the User Handbooks or our Starting Guide which shall ease the first steps for new participants. These documents and even more can be found in this area. 

The SCL-Directory is used for the automated processing of SEPA payments via the Bundesbank’s RPS SEPA-Clearer. It contains all the business identifier codes (BICs) that can be reached via the SEPA-Clearer.

Goethe University Frankfurt has appointed Bundesbank Executive Board member Fritzi Köhler-Geib as an honorary professor. Dr Köhler-Geib has been teaching master level courses in international and development economics/economic policy within the university’s economics and business department since 2021. She will continue to provide students on her courses, which focus on the intersection of financial markets and the real economy, with her practice-oriented perspective on policy measures to support economic growth and transformation processes.
