Comment on 1976 With effect from 29 November 1976, the Australian dollar was devalued. We recorded the following exchange rates (middle rate): 26 November 1976: AUD 1 = USD 1.2329 29 November 1976: AUD 1 = USD 1.0174 On the basis of the above-mentioned rates, the Australian dollar experienced a devaluation of 17.5% against the US dollar.
Comment on 1974 With effect from 25 September 1974, the Australian dollar was devalued.
