Comment on 1994 On 10 April 1994, the Algerian dinar was devalued. We recorded the following exchange rates (buying/selling rate): 8 April 1994: DEM 100 = DZD 1,498.7275 / 1,500.4789 11 April 1994: DEM 100 = DZD 2,102.5176 / 2,104.0117 On the basis of these exchange rates, the Algerian dinar depreciated by 28.7%.
Comment on 1991 On 30 September 1991, the Algerian dinar was devalued. We recorded the following exchange rates (buying/selling rate): 27 September 1991: DEM 100 = DZD 1,044.4043 / 1,049.4587 30 September 1991: DEM 100 = DZD 1,286.3986 / 1,292.4968 On the basis of these exchange rates, the Algerian dinar depreciated by 18.8%.
