General The Sudanese pound (SDG) has been in circulation since 10 January 2007, when it was introduced at a rate of SDD 100 = SDG 1. The SDD remained legal tender alongside the SDG until 30 June 2007. Exchange rates until 2006, see BBEX2:A:SDD:EUR:CA:AB:A04.
Methodology Calculated on the basis of month-end rates.

Comment on 2021 The Sudanese pound was devalued on 23 February 2021. We recorded the following exchange rates (buying/selling): 18 February 2021: EUR 1 = SDG 66.2129 / 66.5439 23 February 2021: EUR 1 = SDG 454.6495 / 456.9227 Calculated devaluation: 85.4%.
