Internship in the field of foreign exchange rates and foreign business statistics

  • You gain insight into the work of a data scientist and/or economist statistician.
  • We offer you the opportunity to apply and expand your skills and knowledge of programming languages (Python, R).
  • You contribute to the integration of new data sources (e.g. web scraping, APIs).
  • By designing and implementing innovative DQM processes and interactive visualisations (e.g. dashboards), you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our statistics.
  • You engage intensively with the methodology of effective exchange rates and contribute to the continuous improvement of our statistics.

Unique assets: your skills and qualifications

  • You are studying for a Bachelor’s degree (from the 4th semester onwards) or Master’s degree in economics, (business) informatics, statistics, data science or comparable
  • You have a good knowledge of statistics/econometrics or data science.
  • For working in the field of data science, you have good knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python.
  • For working in the field of statistics/methodology, you bring good knowledge in economics, statistics and/or econometrics
  • You are cooperative and willing to familiarise yourself with new topics on your own
