Negotiated wages rose significantly in November again

Collectively agreed wages overall increased by 3.0 % in November y-o-y, following a +3.9% rise in the previous month. The significant agreements involving permanent wage increases from 2024, and in some cases also 2025, are having a continued impact and are now becoming more apparent. Collectively agreed wages in the services sector were raised again more strongly, by 3.1 % y-o-y, than in the manufacturing sector (+2.6 %).

In November, basic wages (excluding one-off and special payments) increased by 3.7 % y-o-y, following a +4.5 % rise in October.
