Account holders without a bank sort code can submit CAM payments via the following means of communication.

  • EBICS (Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard)
  • FinTS/Online banking

It is advisable to use communication via EBICS for the submission of large data volumes.

In this regard it is necessary

  • to submit the corresponding application
  • to open a test procedure

  • to follow the relevant terms and conditions.

Below you also find the “fingerprint” needed for the SSL encryption of the EBICS communication.

The “Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft” (co-ordination body of the German banking industry) has published general recommendations for the security of communication via EBICS.
