Procedural rules for the processing of SEPA payments via RPS SEPA Clearer valid from 22 November 2021

As from 22. November 2021 the following procedural rules will apply to SEPA payments processed via the RPS SEPA-Clearer.

The documentation is based on the following European Payments Council (EPC) Rulebooks:

SEPA Credit Transfer Scheme Rulebook, 2021 Version 1.0
SEPA Core Direct Debit Scheme Rulebook, 2021 Version 1.0
SEPA Business to Business Direct Debit Scheme Rulebook, 2021 Version 1.0

as well as the related implementation guidelines.

SEPA Direct Debits

Changes to the the EPC’s SDD Core and SDD B2B Rulebooks and Implementation Guidelines are confined to clarifications and editorial amendments. There will therefore be no impact on the SEPA-Clearer; the existing procedural rules and technical specifications for the clearing and settlement of SEPA direct debits via the SEPA-Clearer from November 2019 remain in force.
