amplus is a concept developed by the Bundesbank for improving small-value cross-border payments between individuals –  a concept to supplement established cross-border payment solutions that is designed to make credit transfers to individuals (remittances) more efficient in low and middle-income countries.

The banks' loans (without securities) to domestic enterprises and households reported in the monthly balance sheet statistics (BISTA) are further broken down by sector in the quarterly borrowers statistics. These statistics provide an insight into the structure of and developments in the lending business with the most important groups of private borrowers. The data have been collected and published on the basis of the Federal Statistical Office's industrial classification system. Data dating back to 1999 are available for research purposes.

Die Kreditbedingungen der Banken für Gegenparteien verschärften sich im Zeitraum von Dezember 2021 bis Februar 2022 leicht. Die preislichen Kreditkonditionen wurden über alle Kategorien hinweg gestrafft, die nichtpreislichen Konditionen hingegen nur für nichtfinanzielle Kapitalgesellschaften.
