Aus den Daten geht hervor, dass sich die Anzahl der Zweigstellen von Banken in der EU abermals verringert hat (um 2,62 %). In 23 der 27 EU-Mitgliedstaaten war ein Rückgang zu verzeichnen.

German enterprises constitute net debtors vis-à-vis non-residents: Standing at €1798 billion at the end of April 2026, their liabilities arising from financial operations and trade credits, exceeded their corresponding assets of €1534 billion by €263 billion. Compared with the previous month, this is a change of €18 billion.

Geringe Nettoemissionen am deutschen Rentenmarkt im April 2026
Das Brutto-Emissionsvolumen am deutschen Rentenmarkt lag im April mit 135,0 Mrd € über dem Niveau des Vormonats (118,8 Mrd €). Nach Abzug der Tilgungen und unter Berücksichtigung der Eigenbestandsveränderungen der Emittenten erhöhte sich der Umlauf heimischer Rentenwerte im Ergebnis um 3,7 Mrd €. Ausländische Schuldtitel wurden am deutschen Markt im Umfang von 10,3 Mrd € abgesetzt. Insgesamt stieg der Umlauf von Schuldverschreibungen in Deutschland im April damit um 14,0 Mrd €.
