Im Juni 2011 war der Bestand an von Investmentfonds (ohne Geldmarktfonds) im Euro-Währungsgebiet begebenen Anteilen um 6 Mrd EUR niedriger als ein Quartal zuvor im März 2011. Maßgeblich hierfür war ein Rückgang der Kurse für Investmentfondsanteile, der teilweise durch deren Nettoabsatz ausgeglichen wurde.

Im Juni 2011 wies die saisonbereinigte Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets ein Defizit von 7,4 Mrd EUR auf. In der Kapitalbilanz waren bei den Direktinvestitionen und Wertpapieranlagen zusammengenommen Nettokapitalzuflüsse in Höhe von 94 Mrd EUR (nicht saisonbereinigt) zu verzeichnen.
