Am 28. April 2016 erließ der EZB-Rat den Beschluss EZB/2016/10 über eine zweite Reihe gezielter längerfristiger Refinanzierungsgeschäfte (GLRGs) sowie den Beschluss EZB/2016/11 zur Änderung des Beschlusses EZB/2014/34 über Maßnahmen im Zusammenhang mit gezielten längerfristigen Refinanzierungsgeschäften.

Im März 2016 wies die Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 27,3 Mrd € auf. In der Kapitalbilanz waren bei den Direktinvestitionen und Wertpapieranlagen zusammengenommen ein Anstieg der Forderungen um 74 Mrd € und eine Zunahme der Verbindlichkeiten um 52 Mrd € zu verzeichnen.

Das Brutto-Emissionsvolumen am deutschen Rentenmarkt lag im März 2016 mit 114,0 Mrd € unter dem Niveau des Vormonats (130,0 Mrd €).
