Im Februar 2014 wies die saisonbereinigte Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 21,9 Mrd € auf. In der Kapitalbilanz waren bei den Direktinvestitionen und Wertpapieranlagen zusammengenommen Nettokapitalzuflüsse in Höhe von 56 Mrd € (nicht saisonbereinigt) zu verzeichnen.
