Im November 2012 wies die saisonbereinigte Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 14,8 Mrd € auf. In der Kapitalbilanz waren bei den Direktinvestitionen und Wertpapieranlagen zusammengenommen Nettokapitalzuflüsse in Höhe von 26 Mrd € (nicht saisonbereinigt) zu verzeichnen.
