Im November 2011 wies die saisonbereinigte Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets ein Defizit von 1,8 Mrd € auf. In der Kapitalbilanz waren bei den Direktinvestitionen und Wertpapieranlagen zusammengenommen Nettokapitalabflüsse in Höhe von 5 Mrd € (nicht saisonbereinigt) zu verzeichnen.
