The ZAG Reports Regulation (ZAG-Anzeigenverordnung – ZAGAnzV) contains requirements and reporting forms for certain reporting obligations of payment institutions and electronic money institutions pursuant to Sections 14, 25, 26, 28 and 38 of the Payment Services Supervision Act (Zahlungsdiensteaufsichtsgesetz – ZAG). This covers the following topics, amongst others:

• appointment and removal of management board members of a ZAG institution;
• granting authorisation to provide payment services or conduct electronic money services pursuant to Section 10(1) or Section 11(1) ZAG;
• reports on activities of ZAG institutions in third countries, in the context of cross-border services and material outsourcing by the ZAG institution;
• use of agents;
• acquisition or disposal of ZAG institutions’ significant holdings in other undertakings and acquisition or disposal of other undertakings’ holdings in a ZAG institution.
