Among households in Germany, the average inflation expectations for the next twelve months held stable at 2.9 % in July and thus remained under the 3 % mark for a third consecutive month. The share of households expecting inflation rates to rise over the next twelve months decreased by 3 percentage points on the month to 47 % at present. Average expectations for the inflation rate three years ahead and average inflation over the next five years both rose by 0.1 percentage point compared with previous month. In July, expectations thus stood at 3.2 % for the inflation rate three years ahead and 3.3 % for average inflation over the next five years. 

Under the Credit Risk Standardised Approach the risk positions are assigned to supervisory asset classes and the appropriate risk weights are calculated .
