On 29 and 30 November, the Bundesbank invited young people between the ages of 18 and 30 to its sixth Euro20+. Held in Frankfurt am Main, the highlights of the event were the two town hall meetings with Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel and Swiss National Bank Chairman Martin Schlegel. Many of the 200 participants took the opportunity to ask questions on topics such as what is currently happening in the economy, the progress being made with the digital transformation, the state of affairs for monetary policy in the euro area and in Switzerland, and pensions.

Die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) und die Norges Bank haben heute eine Vereinbarung über den Beitritt Norwegens zum Zahlungsdienst TARGET Instant Payment Settlement (TIPS) des Eurosystems unterzeichnet. Damit ist die norwegische Krone die vierte Währung, die für Abwicklungen in TIPS zur Verfügung stehen wird. Außerdem darin vertreten sind der Euro, die schwedische Krone und – ab April 2025 – die dänische Krone.

Der Median der Wahrnehmung der Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher bezüglich der Inflation in den vergangenen zwölf Monaten ging zurück, während ihre Erwartungen bezüglich der Inflation in den kommenden zwölf Monaten leicht stiegen und jene bezüglich der Inflation in drei Jahren unverändert blieben.
