Die Deutsche Bundesbank verwertet seit 2008 im Auftrag des Eurosystems ihr verpfändete hochkomplexe Sicherheiten aus der Insolvenz der Lehman Brothers Bankhaus AG (LBB). Die Verwertung ist noch nicht vollständig abgeschlossen. Vorstandsmitglied Dr. Joachim Nagel hat die Medien am 19. Januar 2012 über den damaligen Sachstand informiert.
