Die Deutsche Bundesbank hat im ersten Halbjahr 2023 in Deutschland rund 26.700 falsche Euro-Banknoten im Nennwert von knapp 2,9 Millionen Euro aus dem Verkehr gezogen. Die Anzahl der Fälschungen stieg gegenüber dem zweiten Halbjahr 2022 um 10 Prozent.
