    Die Leistungsbilanz des Eurogebiets wies im April 2022 ein Defizit von 6 Mrd € auf, nachdem im
    Vormonat ein Defizit von 2 Mrd € verzeichnet worden war (siehe Abbildung 1 und Tabelle 1). Dahinter
    verbargen sich Defizite beim Sekundäreinkommen (14 Mrd €), im Warenhandel (3 Mrd €) und beim
    Übersetzung: Deutsche Bundesbank Primäreinkommen (1 Mrd €). Diese wurden durch einen Überschuss bei den Dienstleistungen (12 Mrd €) teilweise kompensiert.

    Bargeld bleibt in Deutschland an der Ladenkasse meistgenutztes Zahlungsmittel. Das geht aus der aktuellen Studie der Deutschen Bundesbank zum Zahlungsverhalten in Deutschland im Jahr 2023 hervor. Jedoch gewinnen Karte und mobiles Bezahlen deutlich hinzu während der Anteil der Barzahlungen sinkt. Dieser Rückgang ist zwar nicht mehr so ausgeprägt wie während der Corona-Pandemie. Dennoch sinkt der Barzahlungsanteil schneller als in den Jahren davor, sagte Bundesbankvorstand Burkhard Balz.

    The statistics on the banks' profit and loss accounts have been released on an annual basis since 1968. This involves the evaluation of the profits and losses calculated from the annual accounts which the banks must submit to the Bundesbank pursuant to section 26 of the Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz).
