A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Deutsche Bundesbank and the People’s Bank of China.

Experts from 17 countries and the Bundesbank discussed various issues regarding the exchange and shared use of sensitive and granular data and microdata. Real-world applicability was key. The seminar will be held again in 2019.

Climate change is posing new risks to the financial industry. This new expert panel provides an opportunity to discuss various regulatory initiatives around the globe and to analyse the new challenges faced by central banks and supervisory authorities. Registration deadline: 26 April 2019.

At a ceremony on 6 March 2020, the EU twinning project with the Serbian national bank in Belgrade was formally concluded. Burkhard Balz, Bundesbank Executive Board member, hailed it a success in his speech.
