Die Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets wies im Jahr 2016 einen Überschuss in Höhe von 359,4 Mrd € (3,3 % des BIP im Euroraum) auf. Für den Auslandsvermögensstatus des Eurogebiets wurden Ende 2016 Nettoverbindlichkeiten in Höhe von 0,6 Billionen € (rund 6 % des BIP im Eurogebiet) verzeichnet.
