Im Juli 2014 wies die saisonbereinigte Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 18,7 Mrd € auf. In der Kapitalbilanz waren bei den Direktinvestitionen und Wertpapieranlagen zusammengenommen Nettokapitalabflüsse in Höhe von 17 Mrd € (nicht saisonbereinigt) zu verzeichnen.
