Internship in the field of system-wide stress testing

Our Directorate General Financial Stability is currently looking for a motivated and suitably qualified student to take up a paid internship in the field of system-wide stress testing.
Valuable work: your role with us
- You will support us to develop an integrated, cross-sector stress test model. You model contagion effects between banks, investment funds and insurance companies.
- You will support us in merging microdata for German banks, investment funds and insurance companies
- You will support us in implementation of the model in Python
Unique assets: your skills and qualifications
- Students in computer science, (business) mathematics, statistics, data science, or similar in their fourth semester or later
- Very good knowledge of Python, in particular in object-oriented programming
- Experience in the use of Python-API PySpark
- Knowledge in R desired
- Experience in working with databases and good knowledge in SQL
