The SCL-Directory is used for the automated processing of SEPA payments via the Bundesbank’s RPS SEPA-Clearer. It contains all the business identifier codes (BICs) that can be reached via the SEPA-Clearer.

The Centralised Securities Database is a security-by-security reference database that contains data on instruments, issuers and prices for debt securities, equity instruments and investment fund shares issued worldwide. A security-by-security database is a microdatabase that stores statistics at an individual security level.

The German Panel on Household Finances (PHF) is a representative panel survey on household finance and wealth in Germany, covering the balance sheet, pension, income, work life and other demographic characteristics of private households living in Germany.

At a press conference today, Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel and First Deputy Governor Sabine Mauderer presented the Bundesbank’s Annual Report for 2025. The loss for the year declined further in 2025, as expected. In view of a significant improvement in profitability, the Bundesbank reported a loss for the year of €8.6 billion, Mr Nagel explained.

In 2015 the Riksbank took the initiative to hold an annual conference on macroprudential policy.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved an extremely large general allocation of special drawing rights (SDRs) to its member states. The new allocation triples the total stock of SDRs to a new level of roughly SDR 660 billion. Germany is set to receive around €30 billion worth of additional SDRs.
