Zwecken dienen. Letztere umfassen den Pensionsfonds für die EZB-Beschäftigten sowie das Eigenmittelportfolio der EZB.

Die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) hat ihren Datensatz struktureller Finanzindikatoren für den Bankensektor in der Europäischen Union (EU) für das Jahr 2024 aktualisiert. Der jährliche Datensatz enthält Angaben zur Anzahl der Zweigstellen und der Beschäftigten von Kreditinstituten in der EU sowie Informationen zum Konzentrationsgrad des Bankensektors in den einzelnen EU-Ländern.

The SCL-Directory is used for the automated processing of SEPA payments via the Bundesbank’s RPS SEPA-Clearer. It contains all the business identifier codes (BICs) that can be reached via the SEPA-Clearer.

AnaCredit comprises the collection of credit and credit risk data at single borrower (borrower-by-borrower) and loan (loan-by-loan) level. As far as AnaCredit is concerned, the term "credit" encompasses loans and advances as well as bills of exchange.

The ECB requires credit institutions to hold compulsory deposits on accounts with the national central banks: these are called “minimum” or “required” reserves. The amount of required reserves that each credit institution has to hold is determined by its reserve base multiplied by a minimum reserve ratio.

Die internationale Rolle des Euro war im Jahr 2024 weitgehend unverändert. Nach wie vor konnte er sich als zweitwichtigste Währung weltweit behaupten. Gemessen an verschiedenen Indikatoren der internationalen Verwendung von Währungen ist der Anteil des Euro seit dem Einmarsch Russlands in die Ukraine nahezu stabil bei rund 19 % geblieben.

Der Wage Tracker der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB), der ausschließlich laufende Tarifverträge abdeckt, weist auf ein Wachstum der Tarifverdienste hin. Werden die Einmalzahlungen geglättet in den Wage Tracker einbezogen, so beläuft es sich für das Jahr 2024 auf 4,7 % (bei einer durchschnittlichen Abdeckung von 48,8 % der Beschäftigten in den teilnehmenden Ländern) und für 2025 auf 3,1 % (bei einer durchschnittlichen Abdeckung von 47,4 %).

In May, households in Germany adjusted their expectations for real estate prices in their region upwards. With an expected increase of 5.3 % for the next 12 months, they were 0.3 percentage point higher than the previous month’s figure of 5.0 %. When asked about their qualitative expectations in May, 61 % (April: 54 %) of households expected real estate prices to increase and 5 % (April: 8 %) expected them to decrease during this period.

The Deutsche Bundesbank conducts regular surveys of households’ expectations for unemployment, economic growth, rent prices, real estate prices, and interest rates on savings and loans. These data are used to calculate index figures, from which corresponding trends can be easily derived.
