    On 29 and 30 November, the Bundesbank invited young people between the ages of 18 and 30 to its sixth Euro20+. Held in Frankfurt am Main, the highlights of the event were the two town hall meetings with Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel and Swiss National Bank Chairman Martin Schlegel. Many of the 200 participants took the opportunity to ask questions on topics such as what is currently happening in the economy, the progress being made with the digital transformation, the state of affairs for monetary policy in the euro area and in Switzerland, and pensions.

    Die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) und die Norges Bank haben heute eine Vereinbarung über den Beitritt Norwegens zum Zahlungsdienst TARGET Instant Payment Settlement (TIPS) des Eurosystems unterzeichnet. Damit ist die norwegische Krone die vierte Währung, die für Abwicklungen in TIPS zur Verfügung stehen wird.     Die Jahreswachstumsrate der weit gefassten Geldmenge M3 erhöhte sich im Oktober 2024 auf 3,4 % nach 3,2 % im September.
    Die Jahreswachstumsrate des enger gefassten Geldmengenaggregats M1, das den Bargeldumlauf und die täglich fälligen Einlagen umfasst, stieg im Oktober auf 0,2 % gegenüber -1,3 % im Vormonat.
    Die Jahreswachstumsrate der bereinigten Buchkredite an private Haushalte belief sich im Oktober auf 0,8 % nach 0,7 % im September. Die Jahreswachstumsrate der bereinigten Buchkredite an nichtfinanzielle Kapitalgesellschaften lag im Oktober bei 1,2 %, verglichen mit 1,1 % im Vormonat.
