Der Bruttoabsatz am deutschen Rentenmarkt lag im Juli 2023 mit 120,5 Mrd € unter dem Wert des Vormonats (168,7 Mrd €). Nach Berücksichtigung der Tilgungen und der Eigenbestandsveränderungen der Emittenten nahm der Umlauf inländischer Rentenpapiere um 28,0 Mrd € zu (Juni: 22,9 Mrd €). Ausländische Titel wurden im Umfang von 0,5 Mrd € am deutschen Markt getilgt. Der Umlauf von in- und ausländischen Schuldverschreibungen in Deutschland nahm so im Ergebnis um 27,5 Mrd € zu. 

Germany’s current account posted a surplus of €18.7 billion in July 2023, down €9.7 billion on the previous month’s level. This decrease was due to a narrowing of the surplus in the goods account and a depletion of that in invisible current transactions, which comprise services as well as primary and secondary income.
