Im Interview diskutierten sie darüber, warum Preise steigen, Bargeld weiterhin unverzichtbar bleibt und der digitale Euro Europas Souveränität stärken würde. Der Bundesbankpräsident verriet außerdem, was er gerne in seiner Freizeit macht.

The National Accounts (SNA) describe in a quantitative manner the economic situation of a regional unit within a specified period.

The BLS covers three loan categories: loans to enterprises, loans to households for house purchase, and consumer credit and other lending to households. On balance, the surveyed banks tightened their credit standards for loans to enterprises and loans to households. The net percentage of banks that tightened their requirements was +⁠ 16 % for loans to enterprises, +⁠ 4 % for loans to households for house purchase, and +⁠ 11 % for consumer credit and other lending to households. The tightening of credit standards for loans to enterprises was in line with what the banks had originally been planning in the previous quarter. It affected large enterprises as well as small and medium-sized enterprises to a similar extent.

Within the framework of banking statistics, information on the assets and liabilities of all monetary financial institutions (MFIs) in Germany is collected on a monthly basis. In addition, more detailed information on important balance sheet items is obtained through quarterly surveys.

Die Präsidentin der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB), Christine Lagarde, und der Präsident der Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Sanjay Malhotra, unterzeichneten heute ein Memorandum of Understanding über die Zusammenarbeit im Bereich des Zentralbankwesens. Die Unterzeichnung fand am Rande der Sitzungen der Bank für Internationalen Zahlungsausgleich in Basel statt.
