2026 – Konrad Adenauer
The German government has decided to mint a €2 commemorative coin entitled “Konrad Adenauer” scheduled to be issued on 8 January 2026. The coin is in honour of Konrad Adenauer (1876–1967), the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is the second coin to be issued in the “Unity and Justice and Freedom” series.
