Greece Euro and cent coins

The Greeks selected the following motives for their coins: Zeus in the form of a white bull abducting Europa (€2), an owl based on an ancient four drachma coin (€1) and three prominent Greek personalities, Eleftherios Venizelos (50 cent), Ioannis Capodistrias (20 cent) and Rigas Fereos (Velestinlis) (10 cent). The three smallest denominations depict a tanker (5 cent), a corvette (2 cent) and the model of an oar-powered warship (Athenian trireme) from the time of Cimon (1 cent).
